Parties at the Café for Children

Party Packages

Following numerous requests, especially from parents bringing their children for a birthday treat at the neighbouring Go Ape Adventures at Black Park, we are delighted to offer a range of party packages at either the Go Ape Shelter, the Lakeside Picnic Area or at the Café. For the Go Ape Shelter or the Picnic Area, you should initially make a booking with Go Ape or Bucks CC for the use of their facility.

Forest Tree Top Party Packages

These are delivered to the Go Ape Shelter (if hired out via Go Ape).

Forest Tree Top Options

Hot Box Choices - £10.50 per head

Chicken Nuggets with Chips or Salad – Served in a box containing one carton of Juice (Orange / Apple / Ribena) and an Ice Cream voucher to spend in the neighbouring Black Park Kiosk.

Fish Fingers with Chips or Salad - Served in a box containing one carton of Juice (Orange / Apple / Ribena) and an Ice Cream voucher to spend in the neighbouring Black Park Kiosk.

Cold Lunch Box Choice - £10.50 per head

Sandwich or Roll with any one of the following fillings: Ham, Cheese or Tuna – Served with a Packet of Crisps (Sea Salt, Cheese and Onion or Salt and Vinegar), one carton of Juice (Orange / Apple / Ribena) and an Ice Cream voucher to spend in the neighbouring Black Park Kiosk.

Please note that, at outdoor locations, payment on delivery is by cash only as there is no access to card payment facilities.

Lakeside Café Packages

Parties can be held either inside the Café or outside on the terrace area, with reserved seating for the group, plus a designated member of staff for kids parties to help everything run smoothly.

Café Party Options

Junior Kids Party - £10.50 per head

Includes anything from our Kids Menu, plus unlimited juice for the table.

Senior Kids Party - £12.00 per head

Includes any meal from the Standard Menu, i.e. any Burger / Jacket Potato / Omelette, plus unlimited juice for the table.

The Big Burger Party - £12.00 per head

A freshly prepared 100% Beef Burger or Chicken Burger served with either Chips or Salad.

The above packages include a designated San Remo party host to ensure a fun and stress free party. Each person will also receive an ice cream voucher to the value of £3.00. First hour table reservation for the whole party is also included. If available, additional table hire time may be booked at £10 per additional hour.

If you have any special dietary requirements (e.g. food allergies), please let us know when booking.

You are welcome to come up to 30 minutes beforehand to decorate and dress your table(s) ready for the party. San Remo party table clothes, with cups, cutlery, etc. are provided as part of the package.

Don't forget to include the number of adults / children attending, the location of the party, the desired date, time and menu choices, plus your own contact details. There is a £5 booking fee to secure a reservation.

Party Conditions

The following conditions apply to parties:

Please provide a contact number and/or email address which will be our point of contact for all arrangements.
We are able to accommodate a maximum of 18 children in a group in the Café. There must be a ratio of 1 responsible adult per 6 children (with a minimum of 2) present to supervise.
Please let us have your written/emailed menu choices and confirmed numbers a minimum of 48 hours beforehand.
Apart from occasional items such as birthday cake, we have a strict policy of only permitting food and drink purchased at the Café to be consumed on the premises and outside seating area.
For Café parties; you are welcome to come up to 30min before the booked time to decorate and dress your table(s). We regret that fountain candles and party-poppers are not permitted for safety and litter reasons.
We are unable to reserve inside seating at the Café at weekends or public holidays as these are busy periods. Although you could take a chance on the day, we cannot guarantee that there would be sufficient available seats or that your group could all sit together.
Pre-ordered hot food will be cooked to be ready for your booked arrival time. We regret that food which has cooled or spoiled due to late arrival of your group cannot be replaced without an additional charge.
There is a £5 booking fee to secure a party reservation. Final confirmation of your booked arrangements is required 24 hours in advance.
Payment of the full balance is required on the day. Accepted payment methods in the Café are cash or debit/credit card. We regret we are unable to accept cheques.
Any damage or breakages will be charged at cost.
For parties at Go Ape, you will be required to observe the conditions of hire for the location or facility you are using. In the event that you or your group break those conditions and as a result are asked to leave the site during the event, no party refund can be given.
For parties at the Cafe, you will be responsible for the orderly behaviour of the group and that other customers and users of the park are not inconvenienced or disturbed. The management reserves the right to ask groups who are disruptive and/or poorly behaved to leave. In this event, no refund can be given.
